We all know that there are some amazing climbers out there Chris Sharma, Alex Hollond and most recently Spencer West has been added to the list. After loosing both of his legs at the age of 5 West managed to “redefine possible” and put his name into the forefront of climbing news. If you haven’t heard (and I’d be surprised if you haven’t!) West managed to climb to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro using only his hands. He reached the summit of 19,341-foot in just one week!
Spencer, from Toronto, Canada, said: “I set out to climb Mount Kilimanjaro not only to redefine what’s possible for me, but to inspire others to overcome obstacles and challenges of their own.”
